Doping Control

Overview of how WRPF Asia supports anti-doping efforts and cooperates with official testing bodies where applicable.

Anti-Doping

Principles

WRPF Asia supports clean sport and equal opportunity for all lifters, especially in tested categories and record-eligible flights.
Where possible, WRPF Asia works with recognised anti-doping bodies and labs in each region to carry out testing.
Lifters and coaches are encouraged to stay informed about banned substance lists, TUE (Therapeutic Use Exemption) concepts and supplement risks.
Positive tests or serious rule violations can result in disqualification, record removal and bans in accordance with WRPF rules.
